Julien P. Icher is a French geographer and historian. He is the founder and president of The Lafayette Trail, Inc. (thelafayettetrail.org), a nonprofit organization interpreting the significance of Lafayette’s legacy in the U.S. and in France ahead of the America250 celebrations. With more than eight years dedicated to the subject, Julien is widely regarded as one of the leading authorities on Lafayette’s 1824-1825 visit to the U.S..
